A lot of people aren't aware of how vulnerable a smartphone is.
Here are a few tips!

Dropping It goes without saying that you shouldn't drop your smartphone. You should preferably keep not your device in your chest or jacket pocket. Do not allow children to play with it. These are the most common causes of drop damage. Drop damage isn't always visible on the outside, yet can mean your device works less well. |

Moisture Don't leave your smartphone lying around in the bathroom, at the swimming pool or other places where there's a lot of condensation. This is a form of moisture that can penetrate into the device and can cause damage. |

Temperature changes Avoid cooling down or heating up your device rapidly. By suddenly entering a warm room from the cold, rapid heating can lead to water vapour in your device, which can then condense and damage your device. Don't put your device on the charger immediately after coming out of the cold. |

Prolonged use Fully restart your smartphone a couple of times a week. This way, you empty the temporary memory and close your applications that are still running in the background. You thus ensure your device remains fast and doesn't crash. You can also install an app-killer that automatically closes applications. |

Magnetism Keep your smartphone as much as possible away from microwaves, cash registers or, for instance, high-voltage units or cables. Smartphones are sensitive to magnetic fields. Magnetic fields can lead to poor range for telephones, mobile internet and WiFi. |

Pressure Carry your smartphone in your trouser pocket as little as possible. This way, you avoid accidentally sitting on the device. This so-called pressure damage is often more difficult to notice than drop damage. |

Vibrations Do not expose your smartphone excessively to strong vibrations, which can damage the front glass of the display or the soldering connections. Your device can then sometimes stop working. |
